John Northen focuses his practice on financial restructuring for businesses, both in workouts and in Chapter 11 proceedings, representing companies, 
individuals, secured creditors, committees, and trustees. He has particular experience handling complex litigation in bankruptcy courts and appeals as well as in business acquisitions. John also serves as Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 panel trustee in the Middle District of North Carolina.
John is certified as a specialist in Business Bankruptcy Law by both the American Board of Certification and the North Carolina State Board of Legal Specialization.
